Wedding Checklist

Following is a basic check list that may help you when planning your wedding although it is to be used as a guide only.

• Select and confirm your wedding date with the reception venue and ceremony venue
• Draft a guest list for reception and evening
• Select and order bridal outfits (bride, bridesmaids, groom, best man, ushers, brides father)
• Book honeymoon and obtain passports, birth certificates etc
• Book photographer and or videographer
• Book entertainment ie disco, band
• Book florist
• Book wedding night hotel

• Discuss ceremony requirements including music, readings etc
• Order invitations, additional wedding stationary, favours and decorations
• Draft wedding gift list
• Order wedding rings
• Order wedding cake
• Order transportation for wedding day

• Write and send invitations for reception and evening guests
• Book trials for hair, make up etc
• Choose something old, new, borrowed and blue
• Finalise details with all suppliers, venue, etc
• Book wedding rehearsal

• Collect rings
• Finalise music for evening reception and ceremony
• Arrange seating plan
• Give venue and/or caterers final numbers
• Arrange final payments for suppliers, venue etc
